CYFLEON
team building activities are closely aligned with the characteristics of a
great team. Measured by their levels of
competition, collaboration, challenge, and fun, all are designed to leave a
lasting and positive effect on the participants. We help teams develop the range of skills
needed to improve their ability to work together as a winning team.
Social & Emotional Aspects of Learning : SEAL
Our
programmes can be developed to support children’s emotional health and
well-being that contributes greatly to the Every Child Matters agenda, as well
as helping schools to fulfil the ‘core offer’ for extended services.
Programmes
can be designed for children who are quiet, shy, anxious, withdrawn or have low
self esteem and confidence.
Our aim
is to provide children with scenarios to problem solve in an enjoyable,
positive experience, in a group, with lots of new experiences and chances to
develop friendships and receive positive reinforcement and praise. Our approach
can support the preventative work of CAMHS at Tiers 1 to 2, as well as helping
schools to meet the emotional health strands of the National Healthy School
Standard. Our work complements the DCSF’s SEAL materials (Social and Emotional
Aspects of Learning) for the small number of children who need more focused
support.
