ESDGC Training

 

As an organisation Cyfleon provide cutting edge environmental and sustainable education (ESD) and Global Citizenship (GC) training and programmes for children and young people. All training programmes are accredited to the Open College Network at:

Level 1: Introduction to ESDGC

1 day course for those wanting to know what is ESDGC and why is it important to my role.

• To explore skills, knowledge, values &  attitudes inherent in ESDGC 
• To achieve accreditation a completed workbook from the session must be submitted.

Level 2: ESDGC practitioner

2 day Course for those wanting to embed ESDGC into own practice:

• To understand the links and connections between the areas of ESD and EGC
• To Explore skills, knowledge, values &  attitudes inherent in ESDGC
• To develop practical strategies for the delivery of ESDGC in own practice.

Level 3: ESDGC Trainer

A 4 day course for those having an ESDGC lead/supervisory role, or those wishing to train or develop others to embed ESDGC into their practice.

• Understand the links and connections between the areas of ESD and EGC
• Identify and understand  the often difficult and contentious issues inherent within ESDGC
• Compare and contrast different techniques, approaches, and strategies for thinking critically about effective  ESDGC
• Develop practical strategies for the delivery of training in ESDGC

To achieve accreditation for all levels a completed workbook from must be submitted.
