and social development, creativity and empathy and compassion for people and
our environment.
Cyfleon adopt proven pedagogical approaches to provide
children and young people with stimulating, fun and engaging learning
environments. Our approach centres on experiential learning approaches that are
interest-led to encourage the development of independence and self esteem and
which foster positive connections and relationships between children and young
people and their surroundings.
Cyfleon are affiliated to international education
specialists in Scandinavia, Japan and the UK that have pioneered proven outdoor
learning pedagogies including Forest Schools and Swedish Outdoor Learning. Through
our affiliation with our international partners, Cyfleon are at forefront of promoting the value of learning
in the outdoors as means of providing a holistic,
interest-led and child centred curriculum. Our
programmes encourage participation in outdoor, play focused learning activities
that are aligned to the National Curriculum and continued by schools and families
post programme delivery to enable the benefits of learning to be sustained over
time.
Through
our experience of working with families, Cyfleon have developed a range of family centred
programmes that cater for individual family needs with an approach that focuses
on the development of collaborative and nurturing relationships.
Our work in the Education sector has involved undertaking comprehensive
needs analysis to gain an understanding of the specific learning needs from both a child and school perspective.
Our partnership approach has enabled us to work closely with mainstream and SEN
schools to diagnose learning needs and recommend bespoke learning interventions
that target identified learning needs and skill gaps. Cyfleon have substantial experience of translating key
educational learning outcomes and incorporating these into the design and
delivery of learning programmes. Our affiliation with national Awarding Bodies
enables us to offer accredited outcomes for many of our programmes which
further reinforce the value of our programmes from both a child/young person
and school perspective.
